A seed vault?

In Utah there is a huge vault built into a mountain where millions of records are stored. For several years the LDS church has collected, sorted, microfilmed many different kinds of records in this mountain. Now In Longyearbyen, Norway, another vault has been bored 500 feet into a snow covered Arctic mountain. World wide governments are collecting seeds and sprouts to put in this vault. Some plant varieties have disappeared due to climate changes , man made eratication and other enviromental changes. Scientists saw a need for amassing, sorting, labeling the remaining existing seeds. This vault will withstand eathquakes and bomb blasts and security is a must. It takes a network of people just to get inside. We can rest assured that our records and seeds are safe for the next generation. Grandmother
