2012 Chicago Marathon

Rather a bittersweet race today...daughter was suppose to be running in it which is why I am in Chicago. But as things sometimes do not go as planned, her goal to run the 26 miles did not happen. A stress fracture side-lined her to watching the race.

The "arm-cycle" runners were the leaders of the pack. These guys and gals were moving so fast I could barely snap a picture. They have to have bi-ceps of iron!

A few of the fastest elite runners, mostly from Kenya and Ethiopia, also were moving out. Speed lightning!

Kudos to ALL the runners. Way to go!!!!
