Nursery Time!

We are slowly but surely getting our lil' one's room ready.  It's been fun but we are still missing a few precious details.  We are doing a combo guest room/nursery, which I'm hoping will make it easier for me when I have to get up in the middle of the night.

Here is a close up of his crib.  His teddy bear is patiently awaiting his arrival.

Here's the little reading nook, where we will read our son his favorite stories.  I'm hoping to paint "READ" in some fun color and hang the letters vertically behind the giraffe.

Here's a close of up Jimmer the Giraffe (my husband named him...think college basketball).

Here are a couple more of my favorite details.
{His books with inscriptions from his family}

{Our favorite little dog, a dwell studio frame that will house our son's photo and sophie the giraffe}

{Fantastic Mr. Fox, who is sure to never leave our son's side}

We have a couple more things that we need to get, so it's not quite finished.  We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our favorite rocker, the Joya, which will replace the black/charcoal chair that Fantastic Mr. Fox sits on.

We are also hanging some of Sharon Montrose's baby animal photos above the crib along with a turquoise letter (the first letter of our son's name).

And maybe we'll get this rug from Serena and Lily to finish it all off.

Now we're just waiting for him to make his appearance!  Daughter.
