Little Spider

I wonder if this is Miss Muffet's spider that sat down beside her.  I walked out into the back yard and the sunlight was high lighting this spider web.  I had to look twice because it seemed like it was suspended in mid air.  After studying it I finally noticed the spider had anchored it to the ground.

Here he is suspended in mid air lazing in the morning sun.  I was mesmerized by his fine work of art.

His creation did not last long the breeze came up and the intricate web folded up.  Grandmother
