Isn't she cute? Unfortunately no one told me how much work a dog would be. Maybe that's why my mother made dogs out of cake because then she wouldn't have to clean up after them! Daughter.

Bodhi Bear
Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of having a dog of my very own. I wanted one so much that every birthday and Christmas I asked for one. My mother got a kick out of making me dog-shaped birthday cakes instead of actually getting me a dog (a joke that I still don't find very funny). After 25 long years of yearning and waiting, I finally have one! Well, sort of. I guess you could say she's on loan from my husband's parents. We took her as a favor and because we wanted her.

She is an Akita and she is full grown. She's so spoiled because people always ooh and ahh over her and she knows she can get away with anything! :)
