Right now I'm reading Mountains Beyond Mountains, which it seems everyone but me has read!
Some other books I have on tap are: A Spot of Bother, Half Broke Horses, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Alice I have Been, Half the Sky and The Lazarus Project.
I just ordered The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Lazarus Project as my husband and I are headed to Turkey this week. I'm hoping to find lots of reading time on the plane and the beach. More to come on that trip later!
Okay, okay I know you're all waiting to find out about our very first giveaway. So here are the details. To enter, you must leave a comment in the comment section telling us what book you are currently reading, what book you'd like to read or your favorite book of all time. To be included, you must leave your first name. The winner will be picked by a random generator and you have until 12 p.m. MDT on Monday May 3rd to leave a comment. So is that this Monday or next Monday? I may win by default!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'm reading Farm City ... its given me lots of new ideas for utilizing my city lot.
Have fun in Turkey. Will
I'm starting Eat, Pray, Love for the second time. First time I bought it because someone raved about it- but I just couldn't get through the first 100 pages. Now it's our June bookclub book so I better crack it open again. (just for giggles our May "book" is Star Magazine!)
ReplyDeleteEveryone I know but me has read "Girl with the dragon tattoo" - hope you like it!
Brandy
I am currently reading The Help by Kathryn Stockett. I am really enjoying it and would definitely recommend it.
ReplyDeleteAnd I would love to read Half the Sky. I saw a piece on Oprah about that book a while back and have been wanting to read it ever since. Maybe I'll suggest that to my book club for our next book.
Have a great time in Turkey! Get me a cool souvenir! ;-)
I'd like to read "Running with Antelope", a collection of short stories from an author I heard on "This American Life" (a great podcast to which daughter refuses to listen).
ReplyDeleteHave fun in Turkey! Oh wait I will be there too.
